Never has it been easier to go shopping. Storelocator is Scandinavia’s largest fashion directory that makes it easy for you to find the stores you are looking for. All you have to do is to enter the name of a brand and get a list of
stores sorted by country and city. And for your convenience, the stores are also listed on a map.

By using our upcoming mobile app, you can easily navigate between stores.

One great feature of Storelocator is the shopping guide. If you plan to go shopping in a new city, you can just add the stores you want to visit to your guide. Once you are in the city, you can open the guide on your mobile phone and navigate to the different stores by the use of GPS.

Can’t find your favorite brand or store? Don’t worry. You can add it to Storelocator yourself and share it with your friends.

Many new features will be made available very soon, so make sure you LIKE us on Facebook, and we will keep you up to date.

Being in the limelight naturally requires a sense of personal style, and these three ladies all know how – and where – to get it. Instead of wasting valuable time and energy in stressful malls and high-street stores, they all prefer hand-picked items from selected niche boutiques. Grünerløkka on the East-Side of Oslo, Bogstadveien and Downtown are all in the golden triangle for great finds, whether it’s vintage, retro replicas, rare designer-labels or funky casual-wear. Best of all, they are all quite happy to share their inside shopping-tips exclusively for StoreLocators readers.

>> See the star’s shopping guide here

Charlotte Thorstvedt (25)

Master of Social Antrophology. Works as a Presenter, DJ and Singer. Her lastest single and video «Arrhythmia» atypically features Charlotte in a straitjacket.

–I find it hard to describe my own personal style. The only thing I am 100% sure of is I don’t feel at home in romantic laces and cutesy clothes. It’s way too girly for me!
I feel a lot more at ease in comfortable clothes in adrogynous styles.
– I look for top quality, long-lasting, no-fading fashions that stand out.
Three favourite shops:

1. Freudian Kicks
– Because they stock a lot of cool labels, like A.P.C., Acne, Wood Wood, Surface to Air, and many more.

2. Velouria Vintage
– A real treasure-garden. Fantastic vintage-selection!

3. Weekday
– Cutting-edge and charmingly quirky – featuring shapes, cuts and materials out of the ordinary. A very likeable label.

Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen (35)

Bachelor in Theatre Science from the University of Oslo. Works as a Singer, Songwriter, Actress and Comedienne. Presenter at the National equalent to Grammy Award, Spellemannsprisen, in January 2012. Soon to release a new record.

– I look for cuts and shapes which’ll suit me and my personal style.
– I’m growing less and less concerned with current trends, although they sometimes inspire.
– The last couple of years, I’ve grown better at picking out clothes I know will make me feel well. They are often plain-coloured, comfortable clothes, designed for a curvy figure.

Three favourite shops:

1. Los Lobos
A Mecca for 1950s and 60s replicas. The buyer has impeccable taste! I’ve bought several gowns here, sometimes the same model in assorted colours. Many of them still go on tour with me. My fave dress, bought at Los Lobos in 2004, I wore at last years Christmas-gigs (see photo from «Nattjazz»). I can’t live without this shop!

2. Velouria Vintage
Excellent vintage with a great selection of dresses and other threads from the 60s and onwards. The shopkeeper really knows what she is doing, and offers skilled advice and good service, too.

3. Mormors Kommode/Siv Lind
A specialist shop, which will tailor-make an nostalgic outfit for you, made out of antique fabrics. I’ve had suits and gowns made up, using my grandmothers textile collection. She used to work at the department store Steen & Strøm in the 60s. The shop-owner, Siv, has a lot of good ideas and references, so I get to adapt different designs to suit my own preferences. Perfect!

Fam Irvoll (31)

Six years of studies in design and knitwear from fashion schools Esmod and St. Martins. Designs and runs her own Label, Fam Irvoll, and a concept store in Toftes gate 52 in Grünerløkka. Also the proud mom of a new baby-girl called Noelle.

– My personal style is a mix between London-Punk, 90s raver and Spice Girls, with a dash of lumberjack and a pinch of Harajuku. Somewhere in the middle of all that, you’ll find me with a big smile on my face.
– I shop for clothes with a good shape, nice details and interesting prints. I tend to look for something a little out of the ordinary.

Three favourite shops:

1. Monki
I was thrilled when Monki sat-up in Norway. They have something for everybody, also in bigger sizes, which is a real blessing for those of us with a couple of extra beer-punds around the waistline. In addition, they are not scared of colours – a fright many shopowners suffer from.

2) Velouria Vintage
A fabulous shop packed with goodies. Here, you can discover some real vintage finds, often in great condition. The store is especially good for threads from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

3) Henrik Vibskov
This is a supercool shop. In addition to the fantastic collection from designer Vibskov, he also stocks Norwegian designer Camilla Bruerberg – a personal favourite! There’s also a lot of funky accessories and other stash, and the interiour is spot-on!
