Registering a store or brand is easy. After you have signed in, click the ‘Suggest store or brand’ on the front page and add the required data. When submitted, the store will be sent for review. Once we approve a store, it will be made visible on Storelocator.

If you are the owner, or are managing a store / brand, you can request to get connected by clicking the link below the description box. We will then review your request to make sure you are who you say you are. See detailed description here.

Once you have been connected to the store / brand, you will be able to update the information. This is done by first opening the store or brand page, then select the ‘Update store / brand details’ from the left menu. Here you will be able to and and update information.

In order to associate brands to a store, or associates stores to a brand, you have to select the ‘Associate brand / store’ from the left menu.

Store owners will get a input box where they just have to input the name of the brand, select the brand and then click the ‘add brand’ button.

Brand owners must select what country / city to list stores, then select a store and click the ‘add store’ button. By holding down CTRL button, you will be able to select multiple stores from the store list.

Adding new store and brands

To add a new store / brand, you have to go to the registration page.

Once a store / brand is registered, it will be held for quality control. Once we have approved the store / brand, it will be visible in Storelocator. If you work with the registered store / brand, you may request to be associated with the store / brand in order to update the information later. This is done by clicking the link in the small box below the description.

Premium subscription

It is completely free to register and update information on any stores or brands. So where does the money come in?

While you will get a lot on the free subscription, you will get even more options with the premium subscription. What you get is still ‘work in progress’ but here are some key features for premium customers:

• Higher visibility. You will get higher ranking listing you before non paying customers.
• Ranking. Even though base ranking will list you higher than paying customers, it may not be enough to list you higher than other paying customers. To make sure you are at the top of the list, you can buy higher ranking.
• Advertising. As a premium member you will be able to have affordable advertising on Storelocator. The benefit of having advertising on Storelocator is that they will also be shown on the websites for our partners.
• Logo and image gallery. Stand out in store / brand lists as well as search lists by having your logo visible. Branding is important for catching the eye of the consumer.  You can also upload images to the gallery that will be shown on your store / brand page.
• Webshop. Even though we do not have a webshop, you can still link to your own webshop. The link will be made to stand out on your Storelocator page.
• Sale and vouchers.  Whenever you have sale, special offers or new vouchers, you can announce this on Storelocator. In time you will also be able to send newsletters to your customers or notifications to smart phones.
• QR code. Do you have advertising in magazines, newspapers or other websites? In Storelocator you may generate a QR code that you can put in your ads. Whenever a user scans this code, he / she will be taken to your store / brand on Storelocator.

This is just some of the features you will get when signing up for premium subscription. Storelocator is still in the early stages and more features will be implemented during this year.

Store search result will give you basic information about the store, it’s location and what brands the store stock.

Brand search result will give you basic information about the brand and what stores sells the brand. Use the filter to see stores for different countries and cities. A map will pinpoint the stores to give you a quick overview.

Don’t worry if you have not created a shopping guide. You can browse through any number of shopping guides and find one that you would like to explore.
